Derek Groomer records a pair of Top-5 finishes
Friday night found Derek Groomer in action at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Ind.) competing in a field of 11 DIRTcar UMP Modifieds. After charging from fourth-to-first in his heat, Derek dropped three spots in the feature to finish fourth. (Colby Stillions photos)
For the Fast Freddy Classic on Saturday at Lincoln Park Speedway (Putnamville, Ind.), Groomer followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a 10th-to-fifth run in the feature. He trailed Jordan Weaver, Matt Mitchell, Tyler Loughmiller, and Jeff Deckard to the checkers.
