Derek Groomer opens 2023 season at Lincoln Park Speedway
The 2023 season kicked off for Derek Groomer on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Park Speedway (Putnamville, Ind.) aboard his Millikan Smiles No. D48 Modified for the track’s season opener.
Amongst a field of 18 DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, Groomer timed in second-fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. Starting the feature in fifth, Derek ran into issues early that sidelined him on the second circuit.
