Podium finish in Super Stock at Bloomington Speedway

Friday found Derek Groomer in action at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Ind.) aboard the No. 79 Super Stock.

After moving forward in his heat race to finish fourth, Derek jumped up one spot in the 20-lap feature to register a third-place finish. He stood alongside Tucker Chastain and Hayden Groomer on the podium.

On Saturday at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.), Groomer scratched from the Modified ranks but was able to bring home a top-10 in the Pro Late Model ranks. He backed up a fourth-place run in his heat with a ninth-place finish in the main event.
