Derek Groomer charges to sixth in Carey Ruwe Memorial at Brownstown
On Saturday, Derek Groomer returned to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) to compete in the Indiana Crate Late Model Series-sanctioned Carey Ruwe Memorial.
Amongst a field of 31 Late Models, Groomer squeezed into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat. Rolling off 14th, Derek advanced forward eight spots in the 50-lap affair to register a sixth-place finish.
