Derek Groomer competes at Brownstown Speedway in weekly show

On Saturday afternoon, Derek Groomer raced for $2,500 in the weekly Super Late Model event at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway.

Finishing second in a heat race, Groomer started fifth in the 25-lap main event but was forced to pull off early with mechanical issues. He was scored 20th.
