Derek Groomer runs fifth with Northern Allstars at Lawrenceburg Speedway

Derek Groomer was back in action with the Northern Allstars on Saturday afternoon for the Whiskey City 30 at Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway.

Finishing second in his heat race, Groomer started from the third-row in the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win feature and rounded out the Top-5 in fifth. He trailed Josh Rice, Jason Jameson, Chad Stapleton, and Kody Evans.
