Groomer attempts CJ Rayburn Memorial and Jackson 100 with Lucas Dirt at Brownstown
Checking in for both the C.J. Rayburn Memorial on Friday night and the Jackson 100 on Saturday evening, Derek Groomer joined a field of 48 Super Late Models at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
Groomer finished eighth in his heat race and seventh in a B-Main during night one which prevented him from making the $10,000-to-win main event. On Saturday, Derek got buried in his heat race and did not start.
